Telematics providers can request support through the SKF Technical Support website or the TraX apps.
Requesting Support via the SKF Technical Support Website
To submit a support request, select one of the TraX-specific forms located in the "Open a Support Case" section, as shown in the image below.
Overview of Available Support Forms:
- TraX: Request Support – This is the general support form where telematics providers can request assistance, report an incident, or address a problem.
- TraX: Onboard Fleet – Fleets need to be registered in advance on the SKF platform. Telematics providers can either register a fleet using the TraX web API (recommended), or request assistance from SKF using this support form.
- TraX: Onboard Installer – When a telematics provider requires assistance from a fleet or a third party, such as a repair shop, to perform TraX installations, they can request SKF to onboard the installer onto the SKF platform, which is necessary for commissioning devices.
- TraX: Transfer Vehicle Configuration: A form used to transfer devices configured on one vehicle to a target vehicle. Please contact SKF before requesting this type of support to ensure the telematics platform supports this operation.
Requesting Support using the TraX App
In the TraX mobile app, users can request support by going to the Support section, selecting "Contact Support," and describing their request in the provided dialog box.
The image shows where the "Contact support" link is located in the TraX mobile application.
