Can CMVA90 add temperature measurement capability?!
During demo CMVA90 to customers, some exisiting AX80 users may feedback they are willing to pay some more extra if our new CMVA90 can add this function, temperature. Of course, I knew there is a plan to make CMDT 391 sensor work with CMVA90. It means CMDT 391 can be a wireless sensor for CMVA 90! I guess this idea can be accepted by customer as well.

Thank you for your feedback.
SKF listens to all our users/customers and appreciates your comments. The SKF Microlog Analyzer dBX currently does not support IR images; however development team agrees that this would be a nice feature to include at a later date. -
Like the vendor, G-tek VPod Pro, it can collect both vibration and temperature.

1- How do the little buttons go with a gloved hand?
2- Does microlog dbx transfer the collected data to SKF @ptitude analyst or other software?
3- Does Impaq pro have the capability to transfer the data to SKF @ptitude analyst?

1. Works good with Polyurethane gloves
2. dBX transfers data to Analyst or Observer
3. There is no connection from SKF software to Impaq Pro.

With a camera installed already some sort of IR image would be a nice feature, handy to have at your fingertips if the data from a motor immediately indicates a need to check for even temperatures.

The current camera cannot measure temperature. It would be worth investigating to see whether a USB Infrared device could be used with the dBX.
