Audio
I would be very pleased if the dBX could be updated to have Bluetooth audio output of the signal as it is being taken.

Thank you for your enquiry. We listen to all our users and customers.
With v1.3 or later software installed, the SKF Microlog dBX now supports Audio listen and playback. Please see the user manual for more details (Appendix G). Yes, Bluetooth and USB cable CMAC 9019 are options.
We appreciate your feedback. -
This will be added in version 1.3 coming out soon. The dBX will need to have the hardware to be able to do the Bluetooth.

Interesting would this be external hardware or internal? and if internal, will it require returning the dBX to a service center for installation? if it is external will it be a clean and tidy arrangement?

Audio output is also supported on non-wireless dBX units. All you need is a USB-to-3.5mm audio jack adapter and a pair of wired headphones. This can be a good alternative if Bluetooth hardware isn’t available

Does that mean that a bluetooth usb audio transmitter could also be used, I have seen a few available online? It's just that 3mm plugs and cables only take a few seconds to become annoying when running routes.
I'm guessing this is plugged into the communication usb port of the dBX?

Yes, you can also use a USB-Bluetooth dongle to enable wireless audio, and it simply plugs into the USB port of the dBX.
When version 1.3 is released, we can also share a list of dongle brands that we've tested internally.
