Alarms and Calculations for Date steps

For recording a date reading, it is necessary to have an alarm if date is too old or is coming up, such as an expiration date. Also, be able to calculate with a date, such as create a date that is 3 months from the entered date.

  Another example by a customer of the need for this enhancement is to calculate time durations. For example, a start date/time to an event and an end date/time to the event are used to calculate the duration of the event. This could be a production run time, processing time, uptime/downtime, etc. and could be hours, minutes, days, weeks, etc.
