USB Laser Barcode Scanner as an alternative

We are unable to use the camera as a scanning option in GoPlant. It would be a great help to be able to use a USB Laser scanner as an option instead of the camera. This limitation severely hinders our usage of GoPlant and the satisfaction of our customers.

Support for external barcode scanners was added with the 2022.4 release of GoPlant.

A few questions if you don't mind:

Why are you not able to use the camera - IT policy on the device, no camera available on the device?

What Operating system is this - Windows, iOS, Android?

Is this for barcodes, QR codes, or ?

IT Policy prohibits cameras in certain areas. We currently use a usb barcode scanner on a Microsoft Surface tablet with our current software. We find it difficult to implement GoPlant without using a scanner and having the operator scroll through 100+ assets to find the correct one.
