The battery will run down to 80% of its capacity for 500 cycles of full charge/discharge.
Considering a standard use case, we can estimate the QuickCollect sensor is commonly recharged for around 1/3 of its full charge, which leads to a battery down to 80% of its capacity for around 1500 cycles or charge/discharge.
So, the battery lifespan will depend on how many times you will charge your sensor.
It was calculated that:
- for a scenario of 2 hours of use a day, the battery will last around 4 years
- for a scenario with 3 shifts a day, it will last around 2 years.
