Create a Workspace through filter

In Analyst you can filter on machine name and the point name and save that workspace.
In Observer, I can filter what I see in the Hierarchy, but if I try to drag that into a Workspace by using the machine, then all points on that machine (regardless of filter) are added and if I try to shift select and drag multiple points, only the first one is added.  Would like to be able to easily group all points of a particular type for easier comparison like below.
