Alarming of IMX-1 (permanent Alarm situation)
Currently (Observer 12.1 and Sensor Firmware 2,3) the IMX-1 throws out 1 alarm/warning, even if the condition is active for weeks. There is no reset until other measurements are below threshold and it comes up again. IF another value is fluctuating around the threshold it generates permanent alarms.
Story: You have a cracked inner ring of a bearing, this generates suddenly very high noise and assume another machine with maybe very sensitive alarm setting and only very slow increase in trend (maybe not to distinct between noise). You start your daily work by checking all alarms you got in the last week/month/day, which do priorities? The measurement point with only ONE Alarm or the one with 10/30/2?
Now consider that you acknowledged that single alarm (as you had many cases with more than ONE notification), yes you tend to acknowledge the rest with low number, there will be newer coming an update for that point. -> And NO, you won't check regular if the Hierarchy is still yellow/red, to much work and no scalability (vice versa = high effort) if I'm forced to check the hierarchy lights.
