system alarm when sensor loose connection

customer complaint that when sometime happened thatI MX1 sensor is losing connection (it happened ) they don’t want to lose the traffic light.
So they would like to have the traffic light color on with addition to the the "?" sigh beside that or in other please , logical ,I would say

- Users can now set up a system alarm that will be triggered if no data has been received within a specified time frame. This notification will alert the user to a possible malfunction with a Data Acquisition Device
