Deployment of Protean diagnoses on multiple machines which already have historical data
For the available Observer versions when dealing with identical machines that already have historical data it is not possible to deploy new Protean diagnoses on more than one machine at a time.
The current sequence is:
1. Select: Database > Diagnosis > Diagnosis rules > Diagnosis handling window (pops up).
2. Select a Protean Diagnose from Type or Import a newly created one to make it available for selection.
3.Double click on a machine from the Hierarchy list > Protean Diagnoses > Attach > Select a Protean diagnose from the list > select Used points (to make it active)
The above listed sequence limits the deployment to a single machine which is extremely time consuming for the user. When the machine already has historical data the Copy/Paste method doesn't work. In order to make the system more efficient a link between the the top tier (Master Template) and the respective Machine from the Hierarchy is needed.
The latter would allow the user to deploy its whole list of Protean diagnoses on multiple machines quickly.
