Summary
When the memory card is corrupted, it is required to flash the SD card of the TKSA 31 and TKSA 41.
Solution
- Using a torque screwdriver, open the device and remove the SD card. This is to avoid damaging the device.
- Remove the SD card from the device and then insert the card into a card reader.
- On the PC where the card reader is connected, go to Devices and locate the SD Card.
- Right-click on the SD Card icon and select Format...
- Click OK

In the Windows search bar, type cmd to open the Command Prompt.

Type cd <followed by the location of the SD card folder> as shown in the image below. Note that you must be logged in as administrator.

In the command line, type genSD.bat <enter the drive letter of the SD card followed by a colon>”. Press enter to create the SD card.
- Once the flashing is completed, the default files will be created in the SD card folder.
- Open the “DUConfiguration.xml” file from the SD-Card (“D:”).

Edit the file to enter the Serial number of DU.
Note: Above steps are valid for both TKSA 31 and TKSA 41. Steps number 10 to 11 (the DUconfiguration.xml file) is critical. So, enter the device properties according to your device model and serial number.
