Analysis and Reporting Manager (ARM) v2.4 New Product feature/Bug Fixes
Solution
The two main things are the support for the new SKF Sync Driver for Microlog communications under Windows 10, and support for loading measurements from the SKF Pulse system.
Changed behavior on ASCII and CSV import so that an error raised during import does not abort the whole process but allows the user to revise the settings on the ASCII import window without having to enter the details again.
Took out erroneous “peak to peak” label for overall on time waveform plot because it is showing the actual overall (RMS) taken by the Microlog. Changed the TPmRecord PowerString method to return the waveform peak-to-peak for time domain data, so that “Spectrum RSS” can show the peak-to-peak.
Made some tweaks to the signature plot header second row to improve layout; and added in two new sub-options for the “Show analysis” option that allows the user to include the number of lines or samples and the FMax or sampling rate.
Vector analysis of orbit data to generate a speed profile.
Orbit animation based on speed data.
Added new set up option for “g to mm/s” when integrating
Implemented high pass filter as part of simple time domain integration to remove wayward LF component when integrating (related to @O 10.3 work)
When controls on Directories tab sheet in set up dialog are disabled, prompt user to save and close files before proceeding.
OTD 14978 - Conformance Check results not named or ordered correctly (version 1.0.0.1, South Africa)
OTD 14399 - Wrong unit using Waterfall spectral slice function
OTD 14387 - "Data not suitable to return orders" error when overlaying two gE time waveforms
OTD 14738 - Cannot save overall alarm
Changes so that objects with multiple records can be used with the Assign bearing functionality, using the first record as the reference. On save, all other siblings have their lists updated from the reference (user is prompted)
Corrected error when importing bearings from online database when running in a German OS (speed was wrong)
Added checks to prompt user over importing a bearing that already exists (by name); options to add to end, overwrite existing, skip or abort.
Added option to delete a bearing from the existing database
Added CSV export options to the bearing list dialog – selected or all
Added hint/status info on current speed when moving mouse over trigger pulse points on waveform plot
Showed nearest speed to cursor (using speed area at top right of plot) if no record speed but there are trigger pulse points
Detection of invalid speeds in waterfalls preventing overflow and range errors when plotting – invalid records automatically ignored by the plot
Added check in the DSP Window waterfall processing to not add speeds when Triggering is true (presence of a trigger channel) but spectrum delta is not “delta RPM” – this is because in this case there are no speeds (values are all zero) and even if we computed them, they are not correct because the zones are not based on the trigger points but on the spacing selection.
Fixed check on selection ranges in DSP Window for waterfall when using fixed spacing, which was not working if there was a trigger channel present.
Fixed problem with alarm bands not being colored in for grades or showing the alarm level type for alarms, when plotted on a spectrum.
Fixed problem with overall or spectrum RSS being put at the bottom of the plot under certain size constraints.
Work on bearing editor and modified SelectBearing form to work as independent bearing database manager, called directly from the main window.
Implemented overall trend as processing function, including handling of individual speed values in the source data.
OTD 15772 - Fixed problem switching FRF data to a polar plot.
