Summary
When attempting to log in to SKF @ptitude Analyst, the following error message may appear:
Solution

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the C:\ProgramData\skf\@ptitude Analyst Directory
- Locate a file named skfMasterSettings.xml and rename that file to skfMasterSettings.old
- In the pop-up window, click Yes
- From the Windows start menu open the SKF @ptitude Analyst Configuration Tool.
It will inform you that the skfMastersettings file is missing or corrupt and ask if you you wish to create a default file. - Click Yes, and the Configuration Tool will open.

Click on Database Type > Set Active and the connection will be saved.
The skfMasterSettings File should be rebuilt at this time and Aptitude Analyst should work.
