Summary
TCTdBX supports the upload of Non-Route data stored only in the standard UFF format. Selecting any other format may result in TCTdBX freezing.
Solution
- From the Microlog dBX Analyzer module, select File > Export.
- From the Format drop-down, select UFF.
- Click Option and ensure Binary (BUFF) is not checked.
If you check the communication log file after TCTdBX freeze, you will see "Not idle for calling device time" messages appearing every 2-3 seconds. These messages will continue to repeat until the TCTdBX application is ended through the End Task.
Binary UFF data is not supported by either ARM or Analyst / TCTdBX. By deselecting the Binary (UFF) checkbox, the UFF data will be stored as standard ASCII and can be successfully uploaded via TCTdBX.
If you stored the Non-Route / Analyzer data as Binary (BUFF), you must remove these UFF files from the Microlog. Clearing the Microlog dBX from TCTdBX will delete all Routes and Non-Route data, including UFF (Binary) files. Once cleared, you can collect new data with Binary (BUFF) unchecked, which can then be successfully uploaded.
