SKF Microlog dBX units are supplied with either a CMAC 9017 or CMAC 9027 neck strap. These straps feature a hook on each end, designed to attach to the D-ring on the factory-fitted hand strap fixing.
To enhance the sturdiness of the neck strap attachment to the Microlog dBX, follow these steps.
- Remove the plastic clips at both ends of the neck strap.
- Extend the webbing strap, keeping the plastic tri-glide buckle (slider) on the webbing.
- Thread the webbing through the corner mounting pillar fixing on the Microlog dBX.
- Fasten the webbing directly around the Microlog dBX mounting pillar. Ensure the webbing passes behind the hand strap webbing.
-
Pass the neck strap webbing through the back of the existing plastic tri-glide buckle, as in previous step.
-
Repeat the process on the opposite side of the Microlog dBX.
