skfTCT.exe – System Error when launching SKF @ptitude Thin Client Transfer

Summary

After install of SKF @ptitude Thin Client Transfer (TCT), users may experience the error below.

Solution

Download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015.
However, since SKF @ptitude is still a 32-bit application, you must download and install the
32-bit version (vc_redist.x86.exe), as shown below.

Once this has been downloaded and installed, SKF @ptitude Thin Client Transfer (TCT) should launch without errors.
