Summary
When connecting to the Observer internal OPC UA server, the client’s certificate will initially be rejected. The user will then need to approve it for the client to connect.
Solution
- Open the Observer Monitor Service Manager.

Right-click the monitor service hosting the OPC UA server and select OPC Certificate Manager.
- Verify that the rejected certificate is correct. Then, right-click on it and select Accept.
If needed, an accepted certificate can be rejected or deleted. Right-click on the accepted certificate and select Reject or Delete.
