Creating SKF Multilog On-line System IMx Transient Groups for Run up Coast down Data Collection in SKF @ptitude Observer

In vibration analysis, we consider a transient as a non-stationary vibration event due to changes in speed, load or process, e.g., run up or coast down events. This document describes how it is possible to analyze these kinds of events with transient groups in SKF @ptitude Observer using an appropriate configuration depending on customer needs.

Additionally, the document recommends a software, firmware and hardware combination in order to have the higher performance during a transient measurement that results in better analysis of these types of events.
