This article describes how to resolve an issue where an IMx-1 sensor will only measure acceleration.

Overview

After creation, an IMx-1 sensor may in rare cases only store acceleration values.

This can happen if the monitor has not been restarted after the sensor was created in the hierarchy. The monitor might not be updated with the correct measurements for the sensor.

Solution

Restarting the monitor will force the sensor and all its measurements to be reloaded into the monitor memory.
