Summary
When starting the @ptitude Observer, no program window is shown.
But the ObserverWinUI process will still show in the task manager, indicating that the program is running.
Due to a bug in Microsoft AppCenter, the @ptitude Observer program may be stuck during startup. Before showing the main window. This state is identified with no program window appearing after several minutes, and the Observer ObserverWinUI.exe process in the task manager shows low or no resource usage.
Solution
- Open the Windows Task Manager and end the ObserverWinUI.exe task
- Open the Observer installation folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SKF\Observer
and copy the file ObserverWinUI.exe.config to the desktop - Open the file in Notepad
- Edit the 9th row in the file setting

To: <add key="appCenterId" value=" " /> - Copy the file back to the Observer installation folder
- Re-launch Observer
