How to calculate the MAC address for the Wi-Fi interface of the Enlight Collect IMx-1 Gateway using the EC Manager app

Summary

The MAC address for the Wi-Fi interface of the Enlight Collect IMx-1 Gateway may be needed depending on the network security. Currently, it is not printed on any label or visible on any status screen.

Solution

The Wi-Fi MAC address can be calculated based on the MAC addresses available EC Manager app log.

1. Log in with the EC Manager app
2. Click on the three dots menu in the top right and select Support
3. Go to the View Activity log. Select the log for your user and delete it to clear old text
4. Go back and Scan for the gateway and connect
5. Then go back to the activity log and scroll to the bottom

The information presented on the screen should be similar to the image below.
Where the red line is the Bluetooth's MAC address that is printed on the enclosure label, and the green line is the Wi-Fi MAC -1.

That is D4:CA:6E:6C:AB:50 +1. So in this example, the Wi-Fi MAC would be D4:CA:6E:6C:AB:51
